Job Responsibilities:

The New Product Quality Manager role is a key leadership position for my client. This person will report to the “Premium Appliance” Quality Leader for North America. As such, the Manager is responsible for the overall quality of all new low-to-mid end product launches. This includes from design to field success, incorporating all quality aspects of supply and manufacturing. The Quality Manager role is responsible for manifesting the quality strategy into the overall new product quality plan and driving action through team leadership and individual action and accountability.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The New Product Quality Manager is responsible for the development and execution of product line quality plans supporting the new product development teams. Critically, the Quality Manager is responsible to assure the compliance & rigor of the Product Creation Process (PCP) for all new product launches. Additionally, the Quality Manager is responsible to drive to objective goal setting and attainment of these and corporate metrics on a consistent basis.

Position: Quality Engineer—refrigeration experience required
Reporting to: Quality Manager
My client is a privately held company, which manufactures and markets the industry's finest consumer products. They are the originator of their segment of products, which are sold in over 80 countries internationally. This world-class organization now offers two distinctive, complete lines of ultra-premium indoor & outdoor products. They are proud to be both customer and employee focused and are experiencing tremendous growth. They are located in MISSISSIPPI.
This role is open due to company expansion and will provide the opportunity for a plant start-up!!
· Set up Quality systems
· Train employees, both inside and outside Quality department
· Implement cost savings and other means by which to address Quality issues
· Performs a variety of complicated tasks
· Reports to Quality Manager
Background Required:
· BS degree (Engineering preferred)
· Minimum 2-5 years QUALITY experience within a HIGH VOLUME MANUFACTURING arena
· Six Sigma or ASQ certifications a plus
· Strong mechanical background
· Solid knowledge of fasteners/ plastics/ sheet metal
· Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power point & Project)
· Hands on with good verbal & written communication skills
· Appliance or consumer goods or automotive experience a plus
