Governor's Corner: North Central District

Welcome to the Mighty North Central District, a branch of the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Inc. for 49 years. The following states make up our district: Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Minnesota, Western Pennsylvania, Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, and South Dakota.

We are moving to the cloud in 2014 with our theme, “Sisters Investing in Sisters”. I see us elevating the extraordinary women of this district into Action and Motivating our experienced Sisters to network with our younger members and share their knowledge.

Our association has been around since 1935 working with at risk youth to improve their outlook, and in some small way make a difference in the adult they will become.  We reach out to our Sisters in African countries to improve their outlook on life.  Each year ambassadors from our international division purchase supplies or collect donations of needed materials.  If we can interest you in joining us in giving of yourself to others and sharing your gifts with the world.  The world is truly in the hands of women!
